Question Title
During Vista installation process, sometimes the Setup can't find the HDDs & I got the error message "This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk".

Answer
It is a known issue of Microsoft Vista because it cannot distinguish between ambiguous hard disks. You can refer to the article in the link(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925481/en-us) for details & follow it's instructions below to see if they help.
1. Create one or more partitions on all the hard disks that are not initialized.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Install Windows Vista.
