Question Title
If you plug memory on 2nd slot only, the system won't boot. This did mention in manual. But is this normal?

Answer
AMD K8 CPU has C, D, CG, Ex version as the CPU number last 2 number show. AMD K8 C,D,CG version has the limitation (need to insert DIMM1 in dual channel mode if you insert 1 DDR only). AMD K8 Ex version CPU is OK. About AMD K8 CPU number list, please refer below list (and attached file). For exp, ADA3500DAA4BN is E4 type CPU.
