According to the specification of the Intel G4x chipset, the motherboard with Intel G4x chipset don’t support the single-sided 2GB or double-sided 4GB DDR3 memory. Intel has not officially published Memory initialization Reference Code (MRC) for G4x chipset to support it. So the system may unable to boot or run unstable when installing the single-sided 2GB or double-sided 4GB DDR3 memory. ECS recommends the users to user the memory that listed in below QVL with this motherboard.
