It’s minor reference code changed with no change to functionality or design specifications. If the new board shipped with B3 stepping, it will be flashed new BIOS for B3 already.
In the other words, when users get the boards, they don't need to update their BIOS to support B3 stepping since it's already for B3. If you still have other concern, please check latest BIOS available on web.
