Question
If SATA HDD cannot be recognized and used, what might be the problem?

Answer
The below main reasons may cause the HDD cannot be recognized and used. Please check these troubleshootings to figure out the possible cause.

1. Faulty SATA HDD, you can confirm if the HDD work well on other system.
2. Faulty SATA connect line. Try other SATA connect line.
3. Faulty SATA port, please try plug to other SATA port.
4. The motherboard support SATA I HDD, but your HDD is SATA II, please refer to the HDD manual to set your  
    HDD to SATA I mode.
