Can I put AMD Socket AM2+ CPU on Socket AM3 platform?

Answer
AMD AM2+ processor cannot be used on AMD AM3 socket platforms because of its pin defined are different and not compatible. If force to install AM2+ CPU on socket AM3 motherboards, the CPU may damage.
