General FAQ

Question
Intel CPU temperature show in negative value in BIOS? Is it normal?

Answer
While using Wolfdale or Yorkfield CPU with PECI host technology in the system, the CPU temperature showed under “PC health Status” in BIOS will be presented by PECI mode and negative number. (The maximum data from PECI is zero.) It is normal. Please check whether your CPU has PECI support from the following Intel website.
