Question
How to save current BIOS from platform in case I need to flash back to previous version?

Answer
Please follow the below guide to back up the original BIOS before flashing new BIOS.
For AMI BIOS:
1. Copy flash utility (afudos.exe) to bootable floppy disk, and connect with the computer.
2. Set 1st boot device in CMOS Setup manu to Floppy, Save & Exit CMOS.
3. Boot to DOS mode A:>\
4. Execute A:>\afudos /oFilename
    Filename: BIOS file for backing up the original BIOS.
    Example: A:>\afudos /o1002038.rom.

For Award BIOS:
1. Copy flash utility (awdflash.exe) to bootable floppy disk, and connect with the computer.
2. Set 1st boot device in CMOS Setup manu to Floppy, Save & Exit CMOS.
3. Boot to DOS mode A:>\
4. Execute A:>\awdflash
    It will pop up prompt for backing up the original BIOS, please follow the prompt to back up it.

Flash utility
