Please refer to the picture of CPU cooling fan power connector. The smart fan function is controlled by Pin #4 of CPU fan control. Due to the 3-pin CPU cooling fan has no Pin #4 of CPU fan control, so the smart fan function cannot work well with 3-pin CPU cooling fan. We suggest customer use 4-pin CPU cooling fan for reducing the noice produced by the CPU fan with smart fan function.
