Answer
If your ECS 8-series mainboard encounters any symptom of below, it's a known issue of old Intel RST driver.
1. Automatically restarts after it's shut down from Windows.
2. Get BSOD after it's shut down from Windows.
3. Display is turned off but CPU fan & other devices still work after it's shut down from Windows.
To solve it, please download the new Intel RST driver - 12.8.0.1016 from following Intel website & install it into your system.
