Do I have to install and use a Sandy Bridge CPU on this motherboard in order to upgrade the BIOS for IVY Bridge CPU support?

If your system cannot support IVY Bridge CPU, and want to upgrade the BIOS for IVY Bridge CPU support, firstly you have to install and use a Sandy Bridge CPU on this motherboard to power on the system, then update the BIOS that supporting IVY Bridge CPU.
