Question
How to confirm whether my MB supports Intel Ivy Bridge CPUs or not?

Answer
Please follow below steps to confirm whether your MB supports Intel Ivy Bridge CPUs or not.
1. Turn on the PC.
2. Follow the POST prompt to press “Del’ key or other key to enter CMOS, then check Chipset/ME Configuration/ME FW version (this position depends on the BIOS) is 7.0.x.xxxx or 8.0.x.xxxx, 7.0.x.xxxx does not support Ivy Bridge CPUs, it must be updated to 8.0.x.xxxx.
3. Refer to here to flash your BIOS with ME FW 8.0.x.xxxx.
4. After the BIOS is updated, the PC will support Intel Ivy Bridge CPUs.

--ME FW version 7.0.x.xxxx.

--ME FW version 8.0.x.xxxx.
