I used i7 920 CPU with OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory [OCZ3G1600LV6GK] but can’t set them to run at maximum speed in BIOS.

Please review the links below; Intel initial internal tests show that X58 platform can achieve memory speeds as high as DDR3 1600 in over-clocking with the Intel® Core™ i7 processor Extreme Edition.
