The ECS Green Data Center and Green Computing practices are adopted from the wave of green IT data center facilities and management concepts. They comply with directions for information centers that are setup for energy-saving, low carbon emissions, energy source and space utilization efficiency and other environmental preservation concepts. Reducing the number of standby physical servers improves computer resource utilization and energy efficiency. Server consolidation is also carried out through virtual technologies. Additionally, the installation of a cooling system in computing rooms helps to maintain an efficient heating and cooling control. This reduces heat production and saves energy required for cooling systems and cooling water consumption.
