ECS plans to fulfill environmental protection, community and customer requirements through different international environmental directives. This plan will be carried out throughout the product lifecycle, from the design phase, to production phase, to recycle phase. Its content includes different ECS Green Solutions, which are implemented from the design phase, and adopts and enacts the following environmental protection concepts: Green Design, Green Supply Chain, Green Products, Green Factories and Recycling.

*Footnote 1
International Energy Star Certification Plan – Due to the risk of global warming and environmental destruction, the US Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Energy teamed up with manufacturers, retailers and enterprises in 1992 to promote a voluntary industry cooperation program. The hope was that the Energy Star standard would popularize energy-saving products, change ideas about consumption by the masses, promote energy conservation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by electronic devices. The US Environmental Protection Agency announced this regulation to reduce energy used by computers and their related devices. Computers and peripherals that comply with these standards carry the Energy Star logo.
All products developed and produced by ECS have passed Energy Star energy-saving tests and carry the Energy Star logo.
